Who's Conn UConn

Last night UConns dream season came true as they won by 12 points over Butler who made it to the National Championship last year as well. Kemba Walker only had 16 points and 9 rebounds. What really put them over top was when they outscored Butler 34 to 19 in the second. Kemba Walker will most likely go to the NBA but if he were to stay UConn may be able to make a back to back Championship seasons.

Hatters Jamboree

Today my team the Danbury Hatters Juniors had 4 games in a jamboree today after losing to Ridgefield 8-1 the Danbury boys came back to tie 2-2 with great heart and determination. Although we lost the last two games they were close but we never gave up until the final horn blew. We had termendous plays by David Wheeler and Andrew Diehel.

Draft Day

Today is a big day for many people because it's Fantasy Baseball Draft day. Don't be very happy if you have the first pick because what if the nimber one pick has a trashy season and you get nothing except loses from that person. Even if you think your team will stink because you have a ton of scrub players don't count them out because one of them could have a 30 homerun, 100 RBI season. All you drafters pick the right guys who don't get injured alot.

Mets Kill Cardinals

It's only spring training but the New York Mets are making a statement to the Phillies. Today the Mets won 16-3 over the Cardinals. They scored half their runs in the 4th inning with help from David Wright who went 4-4 and Angel Pagan who went 3-4. The Mets had five homeruns through the game while the Cardinals had none. The most shocking player was B. Emaus who went 4-4 had a home run, three runs scored, and one RBI. Can the Mets finally make it to the postseason?

Rangers Dominate Again

As the Rangers hve the second straight six goal game but they are slowly creeping them selves up to a better position in the playoffs, they are also sending every team in the NHL that they can beat any team even though they aren't the biggest team. The Rangers only had 1 goal in the last two periods but had 5 goals in the first period. They scored the first five goals on Kevin Price the Canadiens star goalie. Can the Rangers stay hot and climb up the playoff race?

Can The Knicks Come Back?

After falling three straight can the Knicks come back and get hot again. The Knicks have to have better discipline on the fouling because in the three straight that they have lost A'mare Stoudemire and Carmelo have averaged atleast 4 fouls per game and have sat out most of third quarter in each game because they have to many fouls. They also have to have better accuracy on there shooting and if a player misses they need to get more offensive boards. Also they give up on defensive rebounds.

Real Madrid Chasing Barcelona

Real Madrid is in an epic chase to get the number one spot over Barcelona.  Today thhey faced Lyon. The dominated them by winning 3-0. The first goal was scored by Marcelo in the 37th minute followed by Benzema in the 66th minute and finally in the 76th minute Albert Di Maria. Real had 10 shots on goal while Lyon only had three in the whole game. And Madrid had more then half the possesion through the whole game. Can Real catch Barcelona and finally be number one?
